Only God decides the definition of love, No one else has His permision to define love.
Not the US Government,
Not the United Nations
Not any college professor
Not any Parent-Teachers-Organization
Not even parents and grandparents get to decide that.
It’s in the New Testament.
If you don’t own a Bible, it’s on the internet
Those that can’t read can get audio Bible on the internet

is a good place.
You might say, “I don’t care if people love me as long as they respect me.”
But I would offer, "You can't be truly respected by people by people unable to love humanity."
We must be able to love humanity before we can respect any individual, before we can show them any dignity or concern.
For example, I find it amazing that anyone would hope to receive true love or repect from anyone that is pro-abortion,
for those people kill their own flesh and blood for the sake of personal convenience.
Before you can find love, you have to know what love is, then look for the people that live it.
Next, only God defines good and evil; and accordingly, He administers mercy or justice.
If we were perfect, we could deserve to go to heaven.
Heaven is a sinless place, and evil people are not allowed in.
But we are all flawed; therefore we will each receive either mercy or justice on the Judgement Day.
But actually, there are two types of Judgement: a Review and Reward Day for those who submit to the Holy Trinity,
and a Punishment hearing for those that have outright refused Him, and for the wolves in sheep’s clothing.
Their eternal punishment will be announced then, and I suspect there are stages of torment that the eternally damned will receive.
We will each be at one of the two judgment Days.
Those who have chosen to submit and/or love God will receive mercy from their sins.
Those who reject God will be sent away into Hell for their sins, some of which, they didn’t know they committed, because they refused to learn about God.
Some say, 'A loving God would never send a person to Hell',
but the Bible says that God created Hell, so how do they answer that?
So if every human but Jesus has sinned, and Heaven has no evil in it, how do we get there?
If we become born-again, we are given many promises by God.
One of the most important promises God gives us is often the most overlooked; the Promise of Transformation.
The Promise of Transformation:
1 John 3: 3 See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him. 2 Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. 3 All who have this hope in him purify themselves, just as he is pure. (NIV)
“…when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.”
The Transformation will be instantaneous.
His crucifixion brought payment for our sins.
His appearance will transform us and make us suitable for Heaven.
Nothing else is needed, we just need to aim toward purification until we see Him.
